Naseem Hijazi was an Urdu novelist who was born on May 19, 1914, in Sujanpur, Gurdaspur District, Punjab, India, and died on March 19, 1994. Sharif Hossain, using the pseudonym Nasim Hijaz, was an Urdu writer who was famous for writing Islamic historical and historical fiction. Born in British India, he settled permanently in Lahore, Pakistan after independence. His novels based on Islamic history are considered unique in Urdu literature.
