Management policies are mainly aimed at MBA students of Bangladesh Open University. It is written in modular form and it is the first type on management in Bangladesh. The lessons are designed so that students can easily understand them. The book has thirteen units with 42 lessons. We do not claim that this is a major contribution. Rather, it should be seen as a textbook of ideas from various reputable management authorities. We have quoted from various management textbooks that graduate students often follow in our universities. Our effort was to present the texts in a very clear way so that they could be understood and assimilated by the average distance student of the MBA program within the allotted time of one semester.
