Book Review:
Wuthering Heights is an 1847 novel by Emily Brontë, which novel published under the pseudonym Ellis Bell. These are two families of landed gentry in the West Yorkshire moors, the Earnshaw and the Lintons, and their turbulent relations with Earnshaw’s adopted son Heathcliff. It was influenced by romanticism and gothic fiction. Wuthering Heights is now considered a classic in English literature, but contemporary reviews were polarized. He was controversial for his descriptions of mental and physical cruelty, and for his challenges to Victorian morality and religious and social values.
It is not just a golden classic of world literature, it is a novel that turned the idea of romantic prose in its day. Years and decades have passed, but Heathcliff’s storms, tragic love, and Katie’s story are still beyond the reach of time. Many generations of women have already read Pozibal; will continue reading now. This book does not age, as true love does not age.
