Hagar Shipley is quite a character, a woman who feels so pictorial and real as soon as she’s introduced. Throughout the book, she looks back at her history, as she also deals with her current situation. She old, she feeling pushed away from her, frequently patronized by those around her. She especially struggles in her relationship with her son-in- law, a woman I plant understandably prickly, though I could also appreciate that she was the bone who spent all her time minding for Hagar, which would be delicate at stylish. only with some whose personality clashes with yours. Hagar’s frustration with his treatment is beautifully captured and also serves as a good memorial of how easy it can be to unintentionally undermine someone, and how people frequently end up treating the senior like little children and not people who have lived lives. full and intriguing, people. They’ve their own valid studies and opinions that they still have effects to offer the world. The difference between Hagar’s relationship with each of her children was also an aspect of the book that I plant particularly well done. I guess a parent noway intends to love one child further than another, but the reasons we love people do not always make sense, and it’s not always fair. She did have sympathy for Marvin then the faults she finds in him are the bones that I understand do not appeal to me, but he is her son and she treats him enough wretchedly. Indeed in this, though she feels relatable, wonderfully mortal in all of her numerous excrescencies. There were times when I was so deeply frustrated by her, but I also understand that we can not help the way we feel.
