Book Description :::::…

The Prophet is a book of legends of 26 prose runes written in English by the Lebanese-American minstrel and author Kahlil Gibran. It was firstly published in 1923 by AlfredA. Knopf. This is Gibran’s most notorious work. The Prophet has been restated into over 100 different languages, making it one of the most restated books in history, and it has noway been out of print. The book is about love, marriage, children, giving, eating and drinking, work, joy and pain, the house, clothes, buying and dealing, crime and crime. Discipline, law, freedom, reason and emotion, pain, tone- regard. Wisdom, education, fellowship, discussion, time, good and evil, prayer, joy, beauty, religion and death.

The Prophet described life, action and purpose as it should be. After all, he’s a wise spirit (a prophet) who shares his training and wisdom with people who need spiritual guidance to be the stylish people they can be. He’s presented in asemi-biblical way to give further weight to the words; They’re inspiring and upping, and speak with pure altruism.
Although the style, content and purpose are fully different, I would like to compare him to Siddhartha for contemplation for the knowledge of life and for the spiritual concinnity that he maintains. Then are these lyrical essays, although veritably short, thick, intelligent and comprehensive.
