I was really crazy when I finished this book last night. I have to say that I enjoyed it a lot more than any other Dickens book I read, which is funny because someone told me it was written for kids so I should read it because I would probably like it more and I did too. It felt too long and I saw the twist come about who was the beneficiary of a kind of puise, but at the same time, I think the way everything is said and played is really good. I think most of the time I felt like it was long because I had to read slowly because my writing was more complicated because I wanted to make sure I understood what was happening and fully understood each sentence. I think the last two or so sentences in this book were really nice and very well written, but I was very angry that it ended this way even after it had a really good outcome because it was vague. I know it seems like something happened to the book I complained about and I think it’s just my nature as a person. However, most of the characters were so obscene throughout the book, especially Pip, that there were so many times that he wanted to suffocate her. However, I have read the best Dickens book so far, and I will say that it got 3.5 stars from me, it would be even higher, but it felt slow to read and at various points, I had to go through it.
