Ekushey Book Fair (Boi Mela) 2016 New Books
Ekushey Book Fair (Amar Ekusehy Grantha Mela) is national Book Fair of Bangladesh and center of Authors & Readers. The book fair is memories of immortals of 21st February 1952. It is held in Bangla Academy Area, Dhaka (Near TSC, Dhaka Univery). From 2014 the fair is expanded in Shurayardi Uddan and road side of Bangla Academy. The fair is also popular as Ekusey Boi Mela.
Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of Bangladesh premises theBengali literature inaugurated fair 2016 at Bangla Academy on 1st February 2016 (Monday). Ekushey Book Fair 2016 to be held this year on bigger area with participation of around 450 publishers. Bangla Academy has observed its 60th anniversary on Dec 3, 2015. The occasion will be celebrated throughout the fair. 450 publishers would set up their stalls covering a total area of 478,000 square feet.
New books of different writers have published in Ekushey Book Fair 2016. Among the books story books, Novels, Articles, Poems, Children Book, Biography, Drama, Travel story and other Books are published.
